Happy Holidays!

I have so much blogging to do to catch up on all of the recent sessions. I'm sorry I've been such a bad blogger. Every year I tell myself to close shop early... enjoy the holiday... don't get stressed out, and every year I cave... and I over book myself and try to get it all done. Next year I'll be better. Little Aiden deserves to have a mamma that creates a holiday full of traditions. I'm just happy he won't remember a life of sitting at mamma's feet while she works away.

Speaking of traditions I'm thinking about starting this one when he gets a little older. I've been watching many friends blog about their elfs and it looks fun for kids and adults :-)

Jenni Dustin and kids

I met up recently with Jenni and Dustin at Dustin's family's farm... it was beautiful. They'd just welcomed a new addition to their family, little Wrigley.
Big sis Shayla wasn't too sure about him yet, but I've heard she is warming up.

I think I'm safe in showing you these photos as I don't think they'll make the Christmas card cut :-)
Thanks for the great time guys!

I've been horrible at blogging! Sorry busy season has been really busy. Nikole and Sam are seniors at Bozeman High and I had a great time photographing them. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate and an hour and half in we were running for cover.

Peyton turns one

Can you believe it has been a year already for little Peyton? He such a character and makes my job SO easy. Peyton had a barn yard bash for his 1st birthday party so we had to do some cowboy pictures for his invitation.

I love this kid and his big chocolate brown eyes.

Being one is all about exploring your new found freedom of movement... go Peyton go!
Peyton's family got a new puppy around his birthday. These two are going to be best buds!

This picture cracks me up. The classic posed look (of course he did this all on his own)... tilt your head to the side... chin up... ;-)

Little N

Isn't she so cute!

I was surprised to find out that two of the one year olds I shot in September were both born on the same day! Little N shares a birthday with Peyton (look for his sneak peak soon). N's parents have a great house in an awesome location just up the hill from a creek. As we were heading down to the creek their dog comes out of nowhere barking like crazy, ready to attack, fur standing on end... Mom looks just over the edge of the drop off to see a bear! Yes, a bear! about 10 feet from us. Thank god for the dog he saved us from walked right into the bear. Whew! The bear took off so we still went down to the creek, but the whole time I was looking through the view finder I was freaking out thinking the bear would come sneaking back. It was worth a little worry to use this beautiful location.

Andrew & Amy {wedding}

Sorry I've been such a bad blogger. It has been really crazy around here finishing up weddings and holiday orders. the busy season is in full swing!

Back in August Andrew and Amy tied the knot in Big Sky at Big Sky Chapel with their reception at the Huntley lodge. It was a wonderful wedding and these two are totally nuts about each other. Aren't they beautiful and fun. There were many laughs throughout the ceremony and reception :-)

Aren't the bridesmaids' shoes hot!?!

Congrats Amy and Andrew I hope you enjoyed Mexico!
